Electrical Motor & Generator Overhaul & Repair Services
| We provide technical services to all types of electromechanical rotating machines. Our modern workshop is well-equipped to carry out overhauling, repairing, rewinding and upgrading of all makes of AC or DC motors and generators for the power utilities, oil & gas refineries, petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, steel mills, cement mills, oil exploration, ship-repairing, marine and other industries. Our Electrical Services include: - Overhaul, repair and complete rewind of: * AC motor stators and rotors up to 13.8kV, 50000HP * AC generator stators up to 13.8kV, 300MVA * High-speed generator rotors up to 300MVA, 3600rpm * DC motors/generators, armature and field coils up to 7kV, 50MW * GE 752 / EMD Drilling motors and generators - Vacuum & Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process for high voltage stators, rotors and armatures: * VPI is the most effective process to-date for removing air, moisture and volatile from the winding prior to varnishing. * We use solventless resin in our VPI system to obtain a completely filled 100% solid insulation structure and a smooth continuous coating on the external surfaces of the wound coils. * With our VPI system, we are able to provide complete and void free impregnation for form-wound medium (2.3-5.0kV) and high voltage (6.6-13.8kV) stator, rotor and armature winding. The electrical insulation resistance, mechanical strength, coil rigidity, heat transfer characteristics and environmental resistance of the insulation system will be greatly improved. The life expectancy of your motor and generator windings will be extended by at least 50% as compared to those windings gone through the usual dipping process or VPI using solvent-containing varnish. * Our VPI process fully meets the specifications set by IES, BS and IEEE for sealed winding systems. - Supply form-wound stator coils, rotor coils, armature coils and D.C. field coils - Redesign, convert and upgrade of motors and generators. - Repair or renew squirrel-cage rotor bars - Repair or restack stator core lamination - Repair or renew rotor shaft - Skim and undercut commutator and slip-rings - Repair and trouble-shoot rectifiers and converters - Vibration analysis - Conduct condition monitoring of A.C. & D.C. rotating machines on site - Synchronise A.C. & D.C. generators on site - Trouble-shoot faulty A.C. & D.C. rotating machines - Rewind motors & generators on site - Provide installation and start-up services for plant machinery - Provide predictive maintenance programs for rotating machines - Provide technical advisory & consulting services Our Mechanical Services include: |
